My first post on this here new site, to boldly go where…well those other guys went before already.

Anywho, This Coyote, teh Coy-rizzle, here. Keeping it down and making sure the loads are up and whatnot. Jazon and I should be doing the first of the shiny new Bladencasts soon, and the ones after that will hopefully feature our other alumni as well, once broken microphones are replaced and whatnot.

Anyways, just wanted to see if I got the hang of this new system. It’s a bold new day for BladenForce! (*in before slowpoke.jpg)

Indeedy it is!

I drew this on Kilayi’s Facebook :<

I have been investigating the details behind Benoit and the cryptic Wikipedia post and I think I have made a startling discovery. Here is a link to the post in question.

If you notice something interesting, it’s that it happened at June 25, 04:01, Wikipedia time, which is at least 4 hours ahead of our own time, which means that 04:01 would be 12:01, and the bodies were found on the same day at 2:30pm, EDT. We read reports that mentioned the person in question was traced to 3 miles from WWE headquarters in Cramform, Connecticut. From there, Sean and I perused the Internet for more leads. What we found was a forum that was guessing the true identity of this IP Address, and from what we have observed, it is none other than Triple H, or someone associated with him, who was close with Benoit and would have received a text message from him about what transpired. Triple H is billed as being from “Greenwich, CT”, although it says he lives in New York, but here is a map of Stamford, Connecticut versus Greenwich.

We have also determined that there is a larger Wikipedia to censor and silence certain posters, as also talked about by parkerpeters. During a conversation with a Wikipedia poster, an admin removed one of his posts which was a discussion the events that transpired relating to the Benoit murder, and they were promptly also deleted from the archives, proving that Wikipedia knows more about the user than they are letting be known.

I apologize, but since the power supply for my printer basically exploded, I can’t scan anything up to the site. For now, you’ll have to be content with some of the random stuff I’m thinking about putting up there until I can get the new supply. So, what would you guys rather have, stick figures or badly drawn tablet ninjas?

Well, Jazon has finished the new site (or… at-least significantly modded it), and there are alot of changes outside of the side, but inside the comic, and in the (our) media at work. Jazon and Coyote are rehashing some details of the upcoming story, Mason is somewhat MIA in the whole process (but here in spirit - cause he’s cool like that), and I’m working with Brian (and when the time comes Coy - although, those two talk about those all the time) to make the BladenCasts better, and I’m trying to make a (hopefully) permanent theme/intro song for them. So… there’s changes going on, and hopefully any of you who do read about us, and our make-believe lives will stick with us, cause even I (the pessimist-realist of the group) believe that it will be well worth it in the end.

Yes, I’m a goddamn nerd.

Anyway, as you can see, I’ve tried to manually start updating the archives with some of the old posts, but not the comments. I’m going to quit updating the archives on this part of the site and hope to God someone can create that converter that I need. Here’s hoping.

Update: The News archive has been manually updated. I spent an entire morning, since Tuesday is WoW Server Downtime Day, uploading them.

There is a lot of crap going on behind the scenes of the Bladen Force website. I’m beta testing an entirely new format for everything. So far, it seems to be working pretty well, except that the theme I’ve used will force me to keep the width of all of my comics at or below 760 pixels. Although, I’ve set it to automatically shrink the image and add a link to it so you can view it full-size. I’ve done a SHITLOAD of customization, and I’ve pushed it about as far as it will go, but I’m damn proud of what I’ve accomplished. It also means more updates and I’ll be able to actually create a buffer. Isn’t it nice?

(Copied from LJ)
I was wondering, should I go ahead and create a Wiki for Bladen Force and throw it up on the site? It wouldn’t be able to be edited by anybody, but it would be for me to store the character information, story information, locations, etc. It would basically be an online Bladen Force Encyclopedia. I figure I could do this just through normal webpages, but that would take entirely too much effort. What do you guys think?

I was half-expecting this question, but it never actually came up, which was kind of shocking. As I was sitting up there in that webcomics panel, I could only imagine what the audience was thinking. “Who are YOU to answer our burning questions about what to do? You aren’t Scott Kurtz, or Gabe and Tycho. You aren’t some bigshot, so how can you tell us what to do?” Luckily, Jake and Kytri were there to answer questions to which I did not know the answer, but I’m like some purveyor of random webcomic facts.

You can imagine I was fairly nervous. I’ve never co-hosted a convention panel before, but I think we did a really good job. I only wish I could get a copy of that video, because as usual, my humor takes over and I just goof around. I hope I helped inspire some fledgling webcomic bigshots that will remember who their inspirations were when they make it big.

Well, Animazement has come to a close, and it was a blast guys. For those of you that came to the Webcomics panel, thanks for supporting your local webcomic peoples. We do our job so you can be entertained for at least a few minutes on the Internet. :) Also, I’m doing a little site cleaning, since I figure a few people will actually be viewing it now, heh. In doing this, I’ve wiped the crappy old podcasts off of the site and will try to do some new one to replace the old ones. Ignore the errors, they just mean the files are missing. I look forward to being apart of the webcomic panel next year.

Coyote’s Roaming Report From AZ
This is Coyote, typing live from a hotel room at Animazement 2007. The BladenForce have been here at con in full force, and as I type now I’m niched on a couch having just spent the whole night watching godawful movies made fun of by robots, awaiting dawn’s early light so I can head back into the breach and try to snag me some last day price slashed merch before attending a Webcomics Panel that a friend of Jazon’s is running.

More later.

So.. Chris came over the other day randomly, and we hijacked Gene, and here is some video from what happened.

Next Week: On the Scene BladenCast from Animazement in Raleigh, North Carolina
Next week will mark our ConCast and official beggining of da summer! We’ll be at Animazement at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel in Raleigh NC, and will probably podcast about the Con and whatever else strikes our fancy from the hotel room (i dont think we have the technology to do a walking talking on the street podcast. Or maybe we’ll jury-rig something. We don’t really know what or how were doing! XD

Anyways, I just thought the site was looking a bit lonely and could use an update.

And please, stick with us! We’ll be be starting the regular updates of the new Bladen Force sometime soon.

Don’t read this, go read the latest comic! Go! Do it now!

Hey guys, we did a BladenCast the other night. As you are reading this, it has been posted and is waiting for your listening pleasure.
In other news, we will be doing a live BladenCast from Animazement at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel.

I got to see 300 in a sneak preview hosted by my university, and Mason just recently saw the movie, obviously leading to SPARTAAAAA-influenced comics. Go figure. Also, I’d like to draw your attention to the BladenWire, my own personal blog of sorts that lets me bitch about whatever I want and stuff.

Bladen Force is undergoing a few changes as you can see.
I just thought that it would be nice to have Bladen Force get in touch with its feminine side, since all we do is talk about video games, drinking beer, and doing crazy things. Respond in comments with what you think about the design so far.

Many of you have noticed a few new additions to the Bladen Force News family.
The main addition to the news system is the little buttons chilling out below the text you are currently reading. I’ve put some Digg and Slashdot buttons on the page just for the hell of it. These buttons came from another new addition to the Bladen Force site: BladenWire, which is my public website blog for talking about whatever the hell I feel like. A lot of it will be political, some of it will be related to the website, but basically, I created it to get rid of the rants from the main page. Look forward to some meaningful posts related to what I care about soon.

I’ve also begun listing and planning out the comics already in a text based format, so that I will already know how each panel is supposed to look. This will allow me to draw comics en masse, which means when the comic starts, it’s going to be like a freight train: it’s not going to stop smashing into cars.

Sorry for the unexpected downtime. The server we were on went down for some unknown reason. Nothing is broken and everything works, so it was likely some kind of technical error that has now been resolved. Thank you for your patience.
