It depends on what you need help doing, I know some skills with making games but I'm not the most knowledgeable

I was actually talking to the official members (Mason and Gene). But it is nice to know that we actually have a fan on the site now XD

Heh, I've watched the news page of the site for months now, hoping the comics would come back ;) And I never got to see you guys on SE so I never really got to know you guys. Started playing last November.

Well, the most that I could do would be to design the actual hosting page of it... currently I've got a good understand of CSS, but... programming games in not really my forte, but I could try and learn something... and hell... I can always just give ideas...

Well it wouldn't have to be ambitious. If Mason and Jazon can mod counterstrike would could just host the download of a cool mod. Or if someone could script enough for a text-based thing, we could conceivably host that. It's just figuring out what's possible, you know?

I have basic knowledge of programming with C++.
A fair amount of skill at imaging with PSP.
And I've been making StarCraft maps for years, so I know a thing or two about game design.

Would they be playing as the characters of Bladen Force (Jazon, Kenoli, Coyote, Gene, Demamas...???) or would they make their own characters and have it all based in nowhere and the area around nowhere?

When I suggested the idea I was just putting forth the idea of making some random game and hosting it as a way to increase our traffic. That is, we could just make a cool but in no way related starcraft map, or Counterstrike mod, or a MUSH or something, and by hosting the download and/or game here it would do wonders for our publicity.

Basically it wouldn't have to do anything with the BladenForce webcomic or related materials, necessarily, instead just be something from us, the Bladen Force as in the creative team.

The very concept of the Bladen Force is to produce various stuff, not all stuff that would fit into the sort of webcomic/story universe we threw together from our various ideas and multiple running things for fun.

In Brian and I's idealistic vision of the future, Bladen Force could someday be among other things a third party comics/amerimanga publisher, and things would range from comical to serious, and not all be in the shared "Bladenverse" by any stretch.

Basically Bladen Force is more than just the Bladen Force comic. If anything, the BF comic is simply a fictionalized look on the lives of the Bladen Force team. The team's efforts can be of any sort that you want, so don't feel limited.

So... what you're saying is... I CAM run around and kill random people just for the sheer fun of it... because, my character will??? Nah... yeah, but I get ya man... It is a good idea... And I'm glad you two still have big dreams.

Meant to say CAN*

And ya know... in Brian's absence maybe we should put up a comic or two... like intermission comics... I have a few that I did a while back that people would probably enjoy.

Link's not working ;)

Just though I'd let you know :D

How strange. When you go to the comic it uses that exact URL.
But just using that URL dosen't work at all.

Fortunately you can just click "9 - Hey" at the top of the page. =P

I noticed the exact same thing so I sat down and compared it, character by character, and I realized what it is. It's the www. because if you will take note there is no www. anywhere on Bladenforce from my knowledge. :)

Just got back from Brian's house.

We had the brilliant idea that a survival horror online game would be cool. And so we startedt hinking about skills and everything, like a generic version of RE or SH, but we didnt specify a setting, the actual specific horror. So it's dawned on us. What would be really awesome would be to make a game where someone can go through various palletes and choose a location (mansions or planes for example) and then choose a monster type (snakes or zombies for example) and then play it with their friends over the server.

It's an ambitious idea that will probably never happen, but its a really cool idea so I thought I'd mention.

Just for the sheer length of this post... it seems like a BF forum would be a good idea... but that also requires traffic to be functional... but, if we could do threads like this that would work pretty well.
