Bladen Force

Bladen Force is undergoing a few changes as you can see.
I just thought that it would be nice to have Bladen Force get in touch with its feminine side, since all we do is talk about video games, drinking beer, and doing crazy things. Respond in comments with what you think about the design so far.

Many of you have noticed a few new additions to the Bladen Force News family.
The main addition to the news system is the little buttons chilling out below the text you are currently reading. I’ve put some Digg and Slashdot buttons on the page just for the hell of it. These buttons came from another new addition to the Bladen Force site: BladenWire, which is my public website blog for talking about whatever the hell I feel like. A lot of it will be political, some of it will be related to the website, but basically, I created it to get rid of the rants from the main page. Look forward to some meaningful posts related to what I care about soon.

I’ve also begun listing and planning out the comics already in a text based format, so that I will already know how each panel is supposed to look. This will allow me to draw comics en masse, which means when the comic starts, it’s going to be like a freight train: it’s not going to stop smashing into cars.

[14:19] Jazon: Basically.

[14:20] Gene: You guys are morons
[14:20] Jazon: Hey, Younger Pete and Artie did it.
[14:20] Jazon: It was all in good fun.
[14:20] Gene: THAT WAS PETE & PETE!

Sorry for the unexpected downtime. The server we were on went down for some unknown reason. Nothing is broken and everything works, so it was likely some kind of technical error that has now been resolved. Thank you for your patience.

I am sure by now that you are all blatantly aware of this little fiasco. I’m surprised he didn’t cite us in his lawsuit, seeing as how we’re in on the evil conspiracy.

LONG LIVE THE CONSPIRACY!

I thought I’d share with you my idea for reviving Bladen Force, and not just the website, but the ideology.
The thing is, the website needs a total overhaul. I want to have differing sections of the site: The comic archives, the comics, BladenCasts, the forum, and the news. The Comics Archive will contain stuff like Oblivion Archives, Final Fansanity, and even old Bladen Force, while the new comics directory will contain Bladen Force and Stagbeetle, as well as other comics that Coyote and I will jointly be working, (Check his studio blog if you want a sneak peek at a few of them.)
The point of this update is to set clear goals that I am pushing towards. For one thing, we need a completely new theme. This blue and black bruise palette is really getting old. I’m also going to switch Bladen Force to some kind of Content Management System, which can handle all of the crap I want to implement, as well as separate Bladen Force into two distinct comics, “The Bladen Force”, which will focus on the main storyline of Bladen Force, and “Bladen Force: Sidequest Stories” which are the random/filler comics that are set in the Bladenverse. Many of the Sidequest Stories will set up future events, put hints towards possible connections, and just be a fun way to blow off steam from the main storylines ever so often.
